Chautauqua Opportunities Governing Board

Purpose:                      COI is a non-profit community action agency.  The purposes of COI is to provide a range of services having a measurable impact on poverty.  COI assists low-income participants and the elderly.  They provide emergency services which include but are not exclusive to nutrition, housing, migrants, and energy.

Oversight:                   Human Services

County Dept:              Dept. of Social Services, OFA, Mental Hygiene

Number of members:   15 (5 elected officials appointed by County Executive)

Terms:                         Varied (Term coincides with elected term of office)
