Office for the Aging Advisory Board

Purpose: To advise the Director of Office for the Aging on matters concerning the elderly of the County.  Advise OFA on the development of an area plan and subsequently on the administration and operations of the plan.  The advisory council is also responsible for advisement on OFA’s focal points of delivery, information and referral services, advocacy, and any other services provided by OFA.

Number of members:   Not less than 5 or more than 11 appointed by County Executive

Terms:                         Two years. Members appointed to fill vacancy shall serve the un-expired portion of that term
