Soil and Water Conservation District Board

Purpose:                      The Board has the power to conduct surveys, investigations, and research relating to the character of soil erosion, floodwater, and sediment damages, and preventive control measures needed.  The board has the duty to publish the results of such investigations and to disseminate information concerning preventive and control measures.  The board has the duty to develop comprehensive plans for the conservation of soil and water resources and for the control and prevention of soil erosion.
