Mission Statement
The Chautauqua County Commission on Women's Issues affirms the rights of women to equality, hope, dignity, and respect. To further these rights in our county, the Commission recommends and advocates policy and legislation to the County Executive, Legislature, and other governmental bodies, monitors and documents women's progress, and takes steps to educate and encourage both women and men to create an environment in which all, regardless of lifestyle or racial or ethnic background, can realize their full potential.
