"Our Mission"
Dignity:
It is difficult to place a family member in someone else's care. The decision
involves emotional, physical, and financial considerations. When you can't
take care of a family member at your home, consider our home. Since 1832,
the Chautauqua County Home has served area residents who need care as
they grow older. As the most experienced area facility, we offer comprehensive
medical and rehabilitative care for older adults, at competitive costs.
We serve your family and your friends with the contemporary standards
of care they need, and with the dignity, comfort, and convenience you
expect.
Convenience:
We will care for your family member as an individual, through a specific
treatment plan we develop just for them. Staff from many professional
specialties serve, counsel, and discuss needs with residents, their families,
and friends. Our team approach helps residents maintain or regain optimal
levels of functioning by addressing their complete physical and emotional
needs. Skilled staff "round-the-clock provide services to enhance
our residents' quality of life. You are assured that we will provide necessary
services, when they are needed. Your family members will get the medical
attention they need, right in our facility.
Comfort:
Our social workers are skilled in the specialties required to meet the
psychological and emotional needs of older adults. Your family members
will receive professional attention to assure the best possible quality
of life. Skilled rehabilitation staff provides physical, occupational,
and speech therapy, specifically tailored to meet individual needs.
Dedication:
We have a homey, neighborly feeling, since most of our residents are also
Chautauqua County people. Residents keep in touch with their community
by attending sports events, concerts, going fishing with friends, and
meeting with the many community volunteers who visit us. Your family member
at the Chautauqua County Home will remain active in the community. We
also honor the spiritual life of our residents. In our setting, all religious
observations are welcome. Residents are admitted and cared for regardless
of race, creed, color, age, national origin, sex, disability, blindness,
marital status, sexual orientation, religion, sponsorship or source of
payment.
A tradition of Caring Since 1832:
