MAYVILLE –Legislature Chairman Keith Ahlstrom, and Dunkirk Legislators Shawn Heenan and Robert Duff will host the July meeting of the Chautauqua County Legislature at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center on Lake Shore Drive in Dunkirk on Wednesday, July 23, beginning at 6:30 pm.

"This gives Legislators from all over Chautauqua County a first-hand opportunity to see the vibrancy of the Dunkirk waterfront and experience the many positive changes that have taken place," stated Ahlstrom.

The meeting will be held outdoors under the tent at the Clarion. Ahlstrom also stated, "I've always promoted the idea of bringing county government into the community and am delighted to have the opportunity to bring this meeting to Dunkirk."

"As a representative of the city's 2^nd legislative district, I am thrilled that we are bringing our July meeting to Dunkirk's waterfront," stated Legislator Heenan.

Legislator Duff stated, "The management at the Clarion Hotel has graciously offered to host our July meeting and I think it's a wonderful opportunity for us to experience 'business on the lake' in Dunkirk."

The meeting is sponsored by the Chautauqua County Legislature, the Clarion Hotel and City of Dunkirk Mayor Richard Frey.
