Family Court Intake

The Office of Probation has Family Court petitions available in the Dunkirk and Jamestown Offices. Persons interested in filing a petition for custody, visitation, paternity, support, or modification of a Court Order related to these matters may do so by visiting a Probation Office to pick up the necessary forms and instructions. There is no fee for this service.

To modify an existing support order to request more child support you must contact the Department of Social Services, Support Collection Unit at 716-661-7395.
